have taken some photos of a spider in my loft ,and am not sure what it is , but after seeing the false black widow on the TV, I do not want to get near it until I know for sure. Its about 15 mm in length.
If you could identify it asap it would be appreciated
Looks like a False Widow and I would be fairly confident that if is Steatoda grossa - not implicated in bites and a useful spider to have in your loft as they will feed on nuisance flies and pest moth species.
