Who are the biggest polluters?

I personally think that it is China, or America, or maybe GB, no definitely either China or America, they are the big manufactorers ( soz if I spelt that wrong)

Yes, I agree. The biggest polluter was America producing around 5,903,00  metric tonnes of greenhouse gases each year, but now China, because of industrialisation, manufacturing and the growing population, has overtaken America and is now the world's biggest polluter. It produces 6,018, 00 metric tonnes of greenhouses per year!!!!!!!!! And 4.5 tonnes of CO2 per person!!! Fortunately, both countries have agreed to lower their emissions, but is it enough? I'm not sure, I think we need to put more pressure on industrial developed nations, like America, to invest in greener energy, and developing nations, such as India and China, should be developing in a 'green' way; re-newable energy, preserving wildlife habitats and sustainable building etc.
