What do you think about genetic mutations?

  • If you think about it, a genetic change is basically evolution and the creation of a whole new species, so therefore its a great thing.
  • But, if the animal was in pain or distress or if it was totally useless in every way, then it's a bad thing.
  • Or the animal could be a threat to humanity, then should it be eliminated.

To be honest, I think that a mutation should be embraced but not bred any further to create a new species unless the animal would survive in the wild, what do you think?

I agree with you; if the animal isn't in discomfort or if the mutation were to be totally useless or pointless then it is a bad thing, but if it were creating a new species it would be a great thing.

If the animal was a threat to humanity then I don't think it should be eliminated because a load of animals already exiting are threats to humanity and I don't see why we should eliminate a new species just as dangerous as the animals already living in this world.
