    Hi Ashy87,

     

    This is a male Steatoda nobilis (false widow). They wander around looking for mates, he'll probably die off over the winter, they don't feed when mature, put him outside or in an unheated shed etc.

     

    Females have a similar pattern on the abdomen (can fade as they grow), usually much larger abdomens and can appear more "glossy". Females tend to stick close to thier webs/hiding places & not wander as much as males, therefore usually less of a problem to people.
