Bug identification

Hi, my wife and I are on holiday in Italy and have been bitten several times by what we thought was a mosquito. Last night we killed all visible ones but still got bitten. We then wondered if there are bed bugs in the caravan we are renting and have found these, are they bed bugs? I'm not sure they look the same (the picture is very zoomed it, they are about 2mm long). We found 1 on the pillow, some on the windowsill and some on the curtains

It's a bug - but not a bed bug! It may be something like an anthocorid bug which normally feeds on aphids but which will bite (or, to be more accurate, suck) humans occasionally.

It's difficult to give advice without knowing exactly what species they are. Also, are you sure they are the ones biting you? There are some true blood sucking bugs but I'm not aware of any that live in Italy, I thought they were mostly in tropical areas. So, these are probably just turning to your blood in the absence of their main prey, and are not dependent on humans for food. If so, you'd be unlikely to bring any back.
