Hopefully you can see this clearly in the photo.
Looks like a long thin hairy woodlice with a fork at the tail.
Just found a large pile of them in the house!
its a carpet beetle larvea.... commonly called the wooley bear.
the adult beetle fly, its the larvae that cause the damage.
look in areas where you DONT hoover, this is where they are likely to be found active.
mixed with a good hoover and a residual insecticide spray, these can be easily dealt with.
