Beetle Identification please

Ok, i have just moved and i keep coming across these bettles. I've only really been seeing them in one room of the house and am unsure what they are. There has been a lot of disturbance in the room they are located in. I've taken an image next to a 5p coin for an idea on size.

This one below is a lot clearer but not zoomed as much.

Thanks for your help.

They all seem to have lost their antennae which might have helped in giving an identification. Maybe someone might attempt one given a good photo of a complete specimen (from above and side) - that's not a criticism, you can only show what you've got.

If you are finding them in any quantity indoors then they are probably infesting foodstuffs, clothing, timber, or refuse, so it is worth having a rummage about to see if there are any more.  They look a bit like Dermestidae, maybe Attagenus pellio, although that usually has two tiny white spots which I can't see in your picture.  What happens is that they find some refuse to breed in, maybe an old birds nest in a chimney, a dead rat in a basement, something like that, and then they escape into the house, can't find any food, and die.  Is it an older house?  They tend to provide more opportunities for this sort of thing.
