marine type fossil??

    No, not fossils; these are 'sole marks'.

    That is, structures found on the underside of sedimentary beds, being casts representing the floor of the sea/lake/river/etc. upon which the bed was deposited.

     

    Sole marks collectively include a wide range of marks, eg. flute casts.

    Many sole marks have a directionality related to the direction of water flow; you can just about see this in your example.

    Don't find anything like that were we collect, wish we did.

    Ripples in the sand? Pseudo fossil?
