The other week we found three clusters of tiny light green eggs attached to our kitchen wall. A few days later these guys hatched out! They were nowhere near a food source but seemed to like cabbage. They are now eating dandelion leaves as well, and are developing a slightly darker green colouring. Some appear to have black rings around body whereas others are a very pale green-almost white. Growing well and shed skin a few times. I have searched online and in books but have no idea what they are!
Not of lot of chance of identifying these at this stage but keep them on the dandelion leaves and keep this thread updated with images as they grow and we will almost certainly be able to do so as they get larger. At this stage they are looking most like an arctiid moth, Muslin moth perhaps.
