Can anyone help. Since living here I have noticed these insect eggs. I am assuming its a butterfly or moth egg but happy to be educated. Would really like to know specifically what it belongs to. This time as you can see its on a holly bush I have in a pot but I have found them on my purple sage plant. So other than that totally clueless. Help lol. And thanks in advance. It's on the underside of the leaf and hangs down swaying. Only one at a time on each plant.
My gut reaction is lacewing egg.
But it looks more-spherical than usual...
So treat this as a first stab at an answer - hoping that somebody else will reply more confidently.
