Unknown Flies

Can anyone help ID these flies please? Images taken 28 July 13 in West London.

    The first image is of a bee and I believe that the second one is Tachina fera but Chris Raper is your bristly fly man

      I think the second one is actually Nowickia ferox.

       

      N. ferox and T. fera both have that black dorsal strip on the abdomen but the former has all black legs while the latter has reddish legs. I think they have different phenology too with T. fera typically occuring earlier in the year

       

      That said I don't know very much about the Tachinids and it's totally possible there are some other species I've never heard of that fit the bill too.
