Micromoth - 4mm - Is it mimicking ladybird pupae /larvae ??

P1010579.JPGP1010580.JPGI found a few of these in my garden. There was also one I could not catch but was similar but with a beige background. They behaved a bit like clothes moths i.e. running about frantically and very difficult to photograph. I`d love to know what sort they are and if they can damage my plants. I think it might be a TORTRICIDAE but I`m certainly no expert. While trying to find others I noticed that they `at a glance` can be mistaken for ladybird pupae which were also in great abundance and in similar postion on the leaves.
