Is this some kind of flint tool?

I dug this up in my garden in Leyton, east London today. It fits very neatly into the hand. Wasn't sure if it was an ancient tool of some kind? Any opinions much appreciated. Many thanks, James

Im not an expert, but it looks to me like there is definate work done on this piece. the edges are sharp but not only naturally. The person making it could have made a mistake and disgarded the piece. it is some kind of flint, im not sure which kind though. hope i helped.
