Can the Conker Miner be Conquered?

I see from observed Conker Trees in my SE London haunt (Horse Chestnut - Aesculus hippocastanum) have, so far, no sign of the devastating browning, wilt and premature leaf drop caused by the year-on-year Horse-Chesnut Leaf Mining Moth - Cameraria ohridella. Conker trees I observe are already setting seed and leafage remains wonderfully lush and dense and verdant. Are we to expect that Chestnut Miner will start burrowing and 'browning' soon on our conker trees?
