What tree?

When walking in the park nearby my mum and I were discussing trees and couldn't decide on the same answer with this one. May we please know what it is to settle this mini debate xx

It is an elm (Ulmus), but from your photo I can't tell which one.

    Now hug and make up!

My Mum and I used to do that, too. (She died a few years ago.)

It is a great way to learn. You learn not only from each other about a particular item, but also how to express how you're looking at the thing and thinking about it, how to listen to others, and how to assess alternative opinions. All that being done while surrounded by sights, sounds, smells?, and connotations or place and season - which can all be useful reinforcing factors - making later recollection easier.
