just to confirm what Levei has said. Your pictures are all of Thrift - Armeria maritima. It is primarily coastal but does sometimes grow in montane areas - usually where there is metal enrichment in the rocks/soil. It also turns up beside major roads inland due to road salting although there is a different subspecies (elongata) which only grows inland - its stonkingly rare and virtually restricted to one churchyard in Lincs.!
The very narrow very parallel sided leaves in that very leafy dense rosette, often with the reddish colour are very distinctive.
