Both varieties were quite numerous at higher altitudes on Tenerife ,can anyone help with an iD please ?
Number 2 looks like Andrena cineraria but it is slightly less hairy and has distinctive white patches on the legs.
The first is an Athophora not sure how many species are found in Greece but we could prob. work out a likely candidate.
The second is Melecta sp., which will most likely be the associated cleptoparisite of the Anthophora - find out the Anthophora sp. and this will prob. tell you which Melecta sp. this is.
"Just a small point ,Tenerife is nowhere near Greece".
Of course not - I must have had my Greek holiday on my mind.
