I've been finding these odd looking bugs mainly stuck to the outside of my house. The first one I found inside I assumed was just a piece of fluff or dirt but then I noticed more of them clinging to the outside of my house. The move very slowly and don't have any visible legs. This one was hanging from the window this morning, they appear to be able to hang from silk but this one was also climbing down the glass with some sort of sucker coming out of the end. I've scoured the web for looking for these little guys with no sucess and would be really interested if anyone knows what these are or if anyone else has come across them.
These are bagworms (Lepidoptera: Psychidae), which are caterpillars that live and feed within a protective silken tube incorporating detritus picked up along the way (though other species use different adornments).
I am not sure which species this is but these images do not look too far from Diplodoma laichartingella - see images at UK Moths here:
