Little Grey bugs with long pincers/antennae, mites?

I brought a down comforter out from under the bed and found these tiny flat grey bugs all underneath it. There were also quite a few  hairballs I was not aware my cat had been leaving there ]:(

I  have never seen bugs like these, they are very flat and grey, they have long pincers or possibly antennae. I would think they were bedbugs except  they are grey and flat. They look kind of like itty bitty ticks but they aren't  shiny or dark colored or big enough to be ticks, and I don't see why ticks would love cat barf and my down comforter so.

Here is a very silly picture I drew of them:

Any ideas?

Someone suggested they might be mites, would that make sense?

If they are mites, how should I go about getting rid of them?
