Please can someone help identify this tree?
It is at least 5 years old and about 3m tall. It is deciduous and the branches tend to grow upwards close to the trunk
This file, the only photo that I have showing the tree, shows the branches in winter.

Your tree is a hawthorn, of which there are several species (native and cultivated) and quite a few cultivars.
The upright habit might be a clue, however. I suspect it is a cultivated form of one of our native species - Crataegus monogyna 'Stricta'
