Please can you help to ident what is killing this previously very healthy and vigorous Euonymous ? They are like little worms that have covered the stems and leaves. All the foliage on the inner canopy has dropped and the outer canopy looks really shabby.
The resident here noticed these little "worms" about 2 weeks ago and treated as if white fly with Liquid Malathion, which had no effect - so she treated with malathion again. Shedding loads of leaves daily.
Any ideas what this is ?, and any ideas of how to save her euonymous ?
That was my link you were referring to I bought something from B&Q, called BUG CLEAR Ultra Gun, cheap as chips @ £3.50. Not sure if that was the right thing to do, but I covered it in the liquid about 11 days ago before I went on holiday. I came back after 4 days and pesky white things appear to be dying
