Is this a Yellow Shell Moth?

Please can anyone confirm if this is a Yellow Shell Moth? Seen at Smardale Gill in Cumbria, flying in full sun in the morning. Apologies for the awful photograph, I couldn't get close to it. It looked like a small orange butterfly in flight but I am sure it was a moth. Thank you.

    Hi Sarah,

Hard to be sure with this photo, there are a couple moths, easily disturbed that might be seen flying during the day, like the Spinach is one example, but yes possible that it is a Yellow Shell as well, they are variable in degrees of color and how dark the lines across the forewing are. Both of those are in flight now.
