    Hello,

I'm sorry you didn't get an ID for your specimen. Most members here know more about British wildlife so we can't often help with exotic IDs.

Here are some sites/forums that could help you:

Project Noah "is a tool to explore and document wildlife and a platform to harness the power of citizen scientists everywhere". http://www.projectnoah.org/

BugGuide.Net "Identification, Images, & Information For Insects, Spiders & Their Kin For the United States & Canada" http://bugguide.net/node/view/15740

What’s That Bug? "Do you have a bug you need identified? Do you want to submit an interesting photo of a bug?" http://www.whatsthatbug.com/

iSpot "Learn more about wildlife, share your interest with a friendly community and get help identifying what you have seen". http://www.ispotnature.org/

    Best wishes,

    Florin
