Help with identifying this Insect
Hi
This is a female damselfly - either the Beautiful Demoiselle (Calopteryx virgo) or the Banded Demoiselle (C. splendens). A bit tricky from your photo, but I'd go for the Beautiful Demoiselle from the brownish wings.
Whereabouts did you see it?

Dad's garden on Sunday. I think there were some males (Blue colour) flying about, I couldn't photograph these as they were too quick.
:) whereabouts in the country I meant.
The two species don't have identical ranges.

Aha - these two are both found in your area, so I'd go for the Beautiful Demoiselle.
The males have extensive inky blue wings - hence the name :)
