Can you please identify this plant photographed four days ago at approx. 800 metres altitude on Pen-y-Fan, Brecon Beacons. Appears to be a Water Crowfoot but not quite corresponding to any of the descriptions/ illustrations in my identification guides.
on the basis that there were no finely divided floating leaves on this plant the most likely species is Ranunculus omiophyllus - Round leaved Crowfoot. This is based on the leaf lobes being narrowest at their base.
