Hello There, and a big thankyou in advance if you answer.
We have just bought our first house in a very historic area full of stories of Trade, Kings and Smuggling. I am always interested in what been happening around me but cannot find out any information on the actual direct area i live in.
However whilst digging in the garden the other i have come across many things including old shepherd neame bottles from the local brewery.
However the one thing that baffles me is these teeth i have found. To me they look like Cow or maybe horse and also look quite old.
I would be interested in any opinions of what they are as this can help me develop a good guide of what the area has been used for.
I would also be interested to hear of any other sites that may assist me in finding out the history of the area in which my house is situated
My appologies for the pictures, will attempt to clean the specimen at somepoint when its daylight .
By the looks of things it still has part of the jaw attached
Some more pics all cleaned up, the bit to the left originally sat over the teeth, you can see from the upside down pictures the grooves where the teeth settled, interested to find out as much as possible
