Hi, yet another suspected plant fossil - anybody have suggestion as to what it might be? Seems 'Reed' like, thin, flat, long, narrow leaves.
It is in the class Equisetopsida (Sphenopsida), and probably in the order Equisetales.
Within that, one of the genera in the Calamitaceae is most likely; probably Calamites.
One should also consider Equisetites - see here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equisetaceae.
Many specimens of this group of fossil plants, like yours, simply do not contain enough material/information to allow an accurate ID.

Hi. As mike suggested, it's in the class Equisetopsida. I think it's Calamites, though as mike said, Annularia is a possibility.
I have attached an image of a similar Calamites fossil which I found.
