What type of beetle is this?

I found this beetle on my hall carpet beneath a large oak beam. Can anyone tell me what it is please? Should I be worried!?

It is very round in shape, matt, dark brownish black in colour with feint raised ridges down its back. Approx 10mm in size. Thank you for your help!

This looks like a Byrrhid (Pill beetle), e.g. Byrrhus pilula, Cytilus sericeus (there are other species).

Feed on mosses as far as I know, so nothing to worry about.
