I found this tooth in a field any ideas of what animal its from?
Unfortunately the pictures are not to clear, I think it is the fragment of a fosslised Shark tooth where were they found

I did some research on how a shark tooth would end up so far from the sea and I found that there used to be a royal manor near where I found it and correct me if im wrong but I think royalty used to collect sharks teeth and similar items?
I'm sure your local rock/stone is a Jurrasic Limestone this an acient rock formed 145 million years back from shallow seas The tooth has been eroded from the rock where you found it
