My wife has been tidying up our garden, and has today found a haul of bones which we can't identify. Our first thought was a fox, but the vertebrae and long (leg?) bones don't seem right. Any help appreciated!
Most of what you have here looks very much like turkey bones. The long bone is the tibia, the pelvis is on the left of the photo and the vertebra would also fit with Turkey. The bone below the three/four vertebra is the sacrum; turkey and some of the other bones would fit with this. However, the top bone looks like a mammalian tibia and the flat triangular bone is also mammalian, the ilium of the pelvis; both of these could be sheep. There is one bone on the bottom row which is the lower end of a mammalian humerus, again the size would suggest sheep.
