Spider identification

Hello,

Sorry if these are a common identification being posted, but I have 2 spiders outside my window which I would like to identify (as one has laid eggs so I want to know what I am dealing with here). Does anyone know what they are?

Many thanks for any help.

    Re: Spider identification

These are missing sector orb weavers (a look at their webs will tell you why), Zygiella x-notata. Harmless and very abundant on buildings (especially window frames), climbing frames, car wing mirrors, unused bicycles...you name it really. This species is occasionally mistaken for the noble false widow, but the spiders in your photos are certainly not false widows.

Please can someone help, I am not a fan of spiders and this was running up my wall yesterday.

Can anyone identify what this is, and do I need to worry.

I know it might sound silly but I am not an expert here and any help would be great
