I bought some bananas 11 days ago from a local shop they were in a plastic bag I put them on the side and the next day around 2.30pm there were 100+ baby spiders all over the side, some of them died but some still crawling.
The pest company came out but said they could not identify them but thought it might be a huntsman, after some reading, where these eggs were laid (hidden In between 3 tightly together bananas) this is not typical of a huntsman as for one they stay with there eggs and two they are too big to squeeze into the gap.
They then said they forwarded these for investigation to yourselfs (natural history museum) and even yourself could not Id these.
Does this mean they are a new species?
If however you are able to Id these I've attached pictures, I'd be grateful to know what they are.
