We live in the Jurassic Way in Northamptonshire. My son is in Year 1 and learning about Mary Anning. And as if by chance, we found the attached in our garden. Can anyone identify it for me? Tooth? Claw? Or something else completely!
That's a belemnite guard.
They're common in many places.
But even the venerable Mary Anning had to start somewhere...
