Bone found on beach

Found this bone on Port Castle Bay, Dumfries & Galloway on 17th February. The 'disc' part at the top is 13cm at its widest. Would love to know what it is thanks.

This is the caudal vertebra of a whale (tail). The size would be consistent with a fully grown minke whale. If you go just up the cost to Port William there used to be parts of a Minke whale displayed on the sea front.
