Hi. I found this a long time ago in Ossett, West Yorkshire, UK and it's carboniferous age. It comes from the Carboniferous semi sandstone formation.
Any replies would be appriciated.
On second thoughts could it be Artisia?
That's nice Dan.
The ends look to be freshly broken, is there some of the specimen still in the ground?
Thanks for the reply. It was in a rock pile. It had recently washed out of the semi sandstone after some very heavy rain.
