I have always wanted to grow a weeping willow tree with a not in it. I had no idea what to do, but I grew a plant from Spain which was just a trunk and you had to put in water, and that grew, so I tried it with a weeping willow twig, which I tied a knot in so if it grows it will be really strange with the knot it the trunk. I put the twig in a cup of water and I checked on it a month later. I couldn't believe my eyes. Growing out out of the bottom of the twig were 6 roots, and I couldn't understand how it started growing, but then the next day we got taught it in biology.
Will it continue to grow in to a huge weeping willow tree, or will it not grow anything more than roots?
