This is http://www.nhm.ac.uk/natureplus/message/36356 whose identification failed to get to the proper identity, (Pollicipes pollicipes) & yet was marked as a correct answer. This is another example where the system fails in getting a correct answer; & I should have thought the NHM would wish to correct this (in such a clearcut case) by a member of staff indicating which is the correct answer; & since members of staff seem to ignore questions already 'assumed anwered' there's even less chance they'll look at 1 that's already 'answered' which is the reason for this question.
[it was in foreign finds but does occur in GB also]
I have changet it. Your answer is the correct one and i have marked it as such.
When the person who has created a post has received an answer, she can mark it as 'correct' if she is happy with it even if it isn't. There's nothing we can do about it. And we cannot check all messages and all answers. I have told you many times that the purpose of this forum was an exchance between members of the public. Mistakes will be made, but that's what we can do for the moment.
