What a fantastic weekend the wife and I have had at the NHM and the V&A museums, we have only just got home so I will post some images tomorow of what I think is the world leader in natural history information and how to entertain and educate families and everyone who visits.
A weekend is not enough time to spend in the NHM especially if you have a young family because of all the interactive exibitions, my favourite's were the walk in Termite mound, the plannet at the top of the escalator that you actually go through, rocks and fossils that you can touch, the giant scorpian, all of the vertebrate fossils and the dinosour that greets you as you enter the building.
I could go on but the best way to find out more is to give the museum a visit that you will never forget.
Let's not forget the shops! (I love the earth science/natural history books) in the museum they help to pay for the museums up keep including this site.
A great british institution, something to be proud of.
