What is this bone from?

I know it's not much to go by. Sorry

Found it at the park whilst on a hike in the Southern USA.

    This is a metatarsus from the back leg of an animal about the size of a white tailed deer. The metatarsus is the bone which is just below the ankle and leads into the foot of the deer. There is a simillar bone in the front leg called the metacarpus but they are sufficiently different to tell apart.
