This is a false widow, Steatoda nobilis, most likely a male.
Note the word "false", they are not deadly, nor dangerous, despite what you may have read in the press.
Males are often spotted as they wander around looking for females, if he's not outside already, I'd just pop him out there.
Females tend to stick close to their webs and a far more sedentary, webs are usually up off the floor & they hang in them, horizontally belly up, in the evenings so are fairly easy to spot. Again, most would probably prefer to keep these outside of the home, but they're not necessarily a problem if out of the way. I wouldn't tolerate them in the bedroom, or bathroom.
