Came home tonight to find this little one in the seam of my front door. Does anyone know what this is? There seems to be so any pictures of spiders and stories I don't know what to believe. Is this a false widow or a normal house spider?

It's a Zygiella x-notata or the missing sector orb-weaver spider - very common and harmless and often found around buildings, particularly window frames and sills, porches, sheds, etc where they make their orb webs.
