    Hi there, amazing find!

The spider in the image is not a False widow spider or anything in the genus Steatoda. She's a beautiful Hacklemesh weaver in the genus Amaurobius. These, as with any spider found in the UK or ireland, aren't dangerous to Humans.I should also mention that the False widow spiders are actually not considered to be dangerous to Humans in the Arachnological community. The media has recently been spreading a lot of Hysteria about them lately, but none of it's factual. They even use very amateur terms like "Poisonous", which would imply we are ingesting the spider.False widow spiders, in actual scientific studies, are found to pose no threat to Humans.Hope this helps you out.
