Found in our kitchen and anothe in drying room. 2nd had a ball type nest looking object it was guarding. Couldn't get close to get clear photo
The second one is Steatoda nobilis, the most maligned of the false widows, although it has acquired a reputation it doesn't really deserve. Many people live alongside them without any problem.
I can't tell what the first one is.
As Jaguarondi says, the first spider is much harder to identify, but if I blow up the image, it seems more consistent with a harmless, missing sector orb weaver (Zygiella x-notata) than a Steatoda?
The two can be confused at a quick glance (though I am reasonably sure the pictures are of the two different species) & live in close proximity to each other.
