Carboniferous plants of West Yorkshire

I Live in ossett, West Yorkshire UK.  The fossils is find are plant fossils and wood fossils and the are carboniferous in age.  Could you give me some information about what the carboniferous forests were like and can you tell me some of the species of plant fossil?

Also, is there a chance I will ever find an amphibian tooth?  I have always wanted to find a tooth, but no matter how much I look i can never find a tooth.

Could I ever find an insect fossil?  I have found a possible scorpion claw before but could I also find fossilized exoskeletons or can't they fossilize?  Also, could I find worm burrowings in fossil wood?

do you think this is where an insect has eaten this trigonocarpus seed? Or could it just be damage or where the plant has grown?
