This spider has just appeared outside on the wall and has been around a few days. I thin it could of the flase widow family but unsure.
I hope the photo is ok it was the best i could get and when i got too close it start to rear up in defensive stances. So i took the hint and left it alone
It's most likely the garden cross spider, Araneus diadematus, a very common native species. If it isn't then it's another Araneus species.
It must because i have moved down south i am seeing these diffrent spiders
