Hello i have quite a few of these baby spiders outside my house. Their mummy is much bigger and not as camera friendly. could anyone tell me if it is a false widow? I have a curious little boy and i would be worried if he touched a dangerous spider without knowing. Thanks a lot.
Well they're not false widows but IDs not that straightforward because you've filmed their undersides. However, I reckon they're Zygiella, most likely Z. x-notata, a very common spider around houses and in gardens. I have literally hundreds in my garden.
