Hello, would anyone be able to identify this tooth that I found recently at Thorness Bay IOW please ? It is 25mm high. It is unlike any of the Bothriodon teeth that I have in my collection, so I do not think it is Bothriodon. I have also attached a couple of images of another find at Thorness that I have no clue as to what it is. It is also 25mm high. Any information on these two finds would be much appreciated. Many thanks. Steve B.
These both look fossilised to me, my interest is in modern bones. 03 and 04 look similar to carnivore teeth but don't exactly match any modern british species. I would try posting in the fossil identification section as well.
