Tentatively, the top photograph shows coiling suggestive of a gastropod.The lower photograph seems to me to be the anterior part - the inhalent siphon of a gastropod. The specimen looks as if it has been heavily bored, probably by a sponge.
If it is a gastropod - it is one of the elongate variety.
Ahh ok, that makes sense looking at it again, it does have a slight coil visible looking at the cross section. Do you think that it would be possible to get a species from a sample like this? Just in general I mean. I've not found anything else that looks like it from Walton and all I can really work out is that it's a dextral coil.
