Bone or rock?

image.jpgIs this an ichthyosaur bone?  I found it in skegness.  I am asking if it's a bone because it has strange features, like it has strange little holes.  I know it could be a rock but I'm just asking just incase.

Without holding the specimen Dan it is hard to tell what it is because the verts that I have do not look the same although they should do if it was from the Lower Jurassic of the Yorkshire coast.

Suprising what you find at Skeggi, we once went and the sand had been stripped from the beach - out to sea was a boat pumping sand back onto the beach via a pipeline but were they had not reclamed the beach the clay under were the sand had been was extreamly fossiliferous.

Interestingly there seemed to be a lot of Speeton belemnites.
