feather ID please - West Cornwall October 2013

Just a couple of little songbird feathers; I think they are probably goldfinch, but I'd appreciate a proper ID. They were found in a rural environment, locally a mixture of fallow and cultivated fields, scrubby stuff and patches of woodland.
